Saturday - Day 1

We arrived in Great Bend about 1:30 and had a nice long visit with Harold.  He is not really well, but is

much better that he was.  Stopped by the house to take a couple of pics.  Morrison school is gone...

replaced by a new city rec facility.  We then headed for Ness City where we ran headlong into a major storm.

Should have expected something real bad when the temp dropped from 101 to 71 in a matter of mins.

Anyway, we were blasted by rain and hail for 18 minutes.  The hail ranged from the size of ping pong

balls down to quarter and dime size.  It was loud!!!!  Poor old car really took a beating.  No broken glass,

but it has dings all over.  It has been an exciting first day!
